Thank you for the suggestion! I'll have to check out their selection next week!

I can see that you've added several bookstores in Turku to LibrarythingLocal. Do you know anything about their selection?
I am going to Turku next week, and I'd like to know where to go for a good selection of fantasy and science fiction. And I don't read Finnish, so I have a hard time figuring it out on my own:-)
Thank you for your contribution to LibrarythingLocal!

I really like the Youtube you posted ( OBA Bedrijfskleding, Openbare Bibliotheek Amsterdam )
Thanks for sharing!

The new Legacy Library feature that shows us how many books we have in common with Legacy Libraries has made me interested in Eeva-Liisa Manner, whose library you entered. Do you know whether many of her works have been translated into English? Amazon shows one collected poetry edition, no longer in print and not available.
I did find a paragraph by her quoted in Wikipedia--lovely and sad about her childhood memories of being bombed during WWII.
Thanks for doing this--it has long struck me as an interesting project. My friend Jerry (Moibibliomaniac) wrote a paper about the challenges of entering legacy libraries.
Cheers,
Elizabeth

I've always loved the Moomins though and my favourite character is Little My.
I also own the Winter Book, Summer Book and Fair Play by Tove Jansson and love them all. They have just been released here in Britain and it's about time. The Summer Book had me ready to pack up and move to an island in Finland before I had even finished reading it. I think it is beautiful.
Anyway, hope to talk to you soon, take care, Jody
