What's it like to read Joyce, especially Finnegans Wake, not in English? I haven't actually managed to read Finnegans myself (though Ulysses is one of my favorites), but have started it and even started and discussed it in a book group, and the multilanguage puns was something we talked about (one of the participants was a German-speaker, as was Joyce), so I am curious how they deal in translation.
