About meI'm in the grip of a hopeless addiction to books (and what's in them), and have been for as long as I can remember. I'm a Northerner in long-term exile, working in London, reading as much, and whenever, I can - although paid employment, sadly, tends to get in the way.
It will take me a while to build up the list on this site, especially since on-going building works and a plethora of double-stacked bookcases make it a logistical challenge, but I'll do my best...however, there's little chance that I'll be tempted to start putting CDs on here too. With about 5 times as many CDs as books, thanks to my husband's personal and professional mania for expanding his collection, I'd have to give up work completely to keep up with the task. A dangerously-appealing thought....

About my libraryFar too large, ridiculously diverse, and ever-growing. Oh dear.

Hopeless addiction?? Tell me about it! I'm obsessed! I have hit a used book sale every weekend for about two months now and another lined up for this Saturday.. :) I am looking for a 12-step program..
I happened upon your page because I was looking to see who had copies of the Stella Gibbons book "The Swiss Summer". I just saw a cover of an older version and because I like all things Swiss, it intrigued me! Have you read it? If so, please let me know your thoughts.
Isn't LT just so much fun? I have been on over two years now and find it to be an addiction in itself.
Cheers from Canada,
Clamato
