About meA Northern soul; gadfly. Politically minded, but cynical about politics as practiced. Technological and social change are my main reading interests. That and runaway surrealism and the domain of dreams. Cannot reconcile conservative thought and consider it an anathema. Worried about the coming e-book revolution and the effect it might have on the economics of libraries and on the fact of book ownership as opposed to limited licensing.

About my libraryIt's an SF library mostly. This shall not always be so.

Ha! You make a good point. I think the high Ayn Rand ratings are holdovers from when I read her books and idolized her back in high school and early college. From my recollection she never was much for subtlety ;)

Cheers!
