There is no dust jacket--mine are just green like yours. I don't think there ever was a dust jacket, as I ordered mine new through Kepler's Book Store in Menlo Park, CA in 1975 (!!!). I was told then that Peter Smith was a publisher of previously out-of-print books. The Fires of Spring is Michener's semi-autobiographical novel, and unlike anything else he has written. Quite inspiring--a more hopeful Great Expectations.

You are the only other member who appears to have Pelle The Conqueror in your library. I first read it after it was mentioned in James Michener's The Fires of Spring.
