About meEx librarian, ex computer programmer & support person, ex science fiction fan, Currently working at home as the office manager of a small legal costing practice. Owner of cavalier king charles spaniels.
About my libraryHave been accumulating books for over 40 years - science fiction & fantasy, computing, history, historical fiction ... I'm also cataloguing my wife's books, because after 30 years it's kind of hard to work out whose is whose - except for the cookery books, that is.
"Your Library" contains books that we own. Since we live in a fairly small house I've had a fairly rigorous weeding policy over the years, so books get thrown out in numbers that fairly closely match those that are acquired. I have a "Withdrawn" collection for the ones discarded.

I really did not having to read the bible at school, it was hard to take it in and stay awake.
I think the hobbit is teh same, it may work for adults, but its not a very exciting book for me, I am 14 and like some action.
Teenagers have changed now, we do NOT like boring books, we need a modern book to stimulate us. I live on the text and internet, the hobbit and bible cant compete, That is why I put them in the same catergory.

I want to thank you for bringing that review to my attention. I apparently used a metaphor that doesn't apply. I will edit my review accordingly. Btw I agree about the name Eragon. I actually laughed when it first came out. But I do feel Paolini deserves some respect for that novel. Looking back it wasn't that bad
