I haven't heard anything about any other Takahashi translations in the works. Shortly after writing the review of Sayonara, Gangsters you saw I mentioned to the publisher, Vertical, how nice it would be if they translated some of Takahashi's essays and criticism. This impertinent suggestion was greeted with resounding silence.

I certainly hope more of Takahashi's work makes it into English soon.

Cloud Atlas is a treat. We're all waiting with bated breath for the big book on which he is currently at work. I don't know The Grasshopper King, but will check it out.
