About meRecovering lawyer or late-blooming PhD depending on one's point of view. After 30 years of law practice, I earned my PhD in History and now teach at the college level.

About my libraryMy library reflects my passion for and love of art, my profession as a historian (specializing in America after Reconstruction -- the Progressive Era, the Great Depression, and the New Deal in particular), and my love of literature. As an elementary school kid, I read constantly, even while I walked. Sometimes I walked into phone poles. Now I live where there are sidewalks and the phone poles are safe. Problem solved.

I enjoyed browsing your history titles...we share an interest in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, though I focus on architecture. Thanks to your library for providing me with a few promising references!
