About my libraryThe picture is of our granddaughter Elsie - our first grandchild born in May 2008.
In my book you only get one life, so this is the collection that suits until the joker deals. I'd like to reduce the number of books over the next few years (fat chance), rather than increase them. I've read roughly a third - dipped into another third - the final third are unexplored, no doubt recommended by someone, spied on a blog or spotted in a newspaper or magazine.
When the reading is almost done I'll pick up my begging bowl and disappear into the forest with three books: a favourite, one partially read, and another that is unexplored.
