Hello Scott,

I just finished We Disappear last week. I enjoyed it very much. I'm trying to work my way through the Lammy nominees before the end of May. Right now I'm planning to go to the award ceremony but we'll see. I've read everything in the Gay Fiction category except The Torturer's Wife. I think you have a good chance of winning.

I finished The Boomerang Kid by Jay Quinn over the weekend. Not his best effort, but I also really liked Stray Dog Winter. (This must be the year of "mothers and sons").

Best of luck.

Dan
I was amazed and moved by your novel Mysterious Skin. Thanks for such a powerful and perceptive work; I've recommended it to many of my friends. I look forward to reading some of your other works. Thanks again!
Hi Scott-
I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed MYSTERIOUS SKIN. It was a powerful reading experience.
Please add me as a library friend--and check out my library, we do have some titles in common.
Thanks-
TONY-NYC
I just finished reading "Mysterious Skin" not five minutes ago, and I have goosebumps. Thank you so much for such a beautiful, painful, powerful book.
I just picked up We Disappear from my local library and thought it was very good. Unfortunately they didn't have any of your other books. Good luck with your future writing!
Hi Scott! Thanks for the friend request, and fantastic job on the video for We Disappear. The music is perfect. I'd actually never heard of Cindytalk before watching it (but thankfully that’s been rectified). How’d you figure out what music to use? Did you have any runners-up?

Wow! My heart nearly jumped out of my chest when I saw who had written me a comment. Your work is magnificent, and I am eagerly awaiting We Disappear. You made my entire week.

P.S. Keep up the awesome blog entries. I am a music/list fanatic as well.
