About my libraryMaybe 800 books (trying to get everything entered in Library Thing), classics, newer stuff that isn't trash (there's quite a bit of trash out there), mostly fiction but also bios, philosophy, psychology, history. I have an eclectic mix from many genres and eras, but really just want beautiful writing and to read something that is different and meaningful-- dark, weird, disturbing--all that is good too. I'm also trying to put together a good library for my kids (Disney is banned). Some favorite authors: Faulkner, Atwood, Steinbeck, Nabokov, Woolf... the list goes on.... Huh!I just checked on that mooch a little earlier today (was doing some BM housekeeping) and felt a bit sad as it hadn't been accepted yet...and then I got your note! I must do that more often - lol!

No problems Debbie - just wanted to help if I could; or at least help you feel a little less aggrieved. :)
We are in the process of up-dating and overhauling the official 'angel' list - there is even a thread that Michelle started; you can volunteer when it is asked as LT members will be added to it.

I know what you mean - it is very rewarding to get a book to someone who really wants it; especially in another country!
