Awesome Animal Ark book! I've been wanting to read this one for a long time. It seems that it's the season for pregnant cats; Not only is Delilah, a beautiful Persian, carrying kittens, but Mandy finds a stray cat that is pregnant as well. Calling the stray tabby Blossom, Mandy and James start feeding her and looking after her, hoping that the kittens from both expectant mothers will be born nice and healthy. They are, but not long after the kittens are born, tragedy strikes, and Delilah is forced to stay at Animal Ark Hospital for awhile. How can her kittens survive without her? I loved Mandy's stubborn determination in this book (well, in all the AA books!), the small kittens would've certainly died without her and James feeding them and helping them so often. And I nearly laughed outloud when Mandy and James realized that all their fretting about keeping Blossom away from Delilah's kittens was for nothing, because Blossom wanted to foster-mother them! (
