I also still have my beat-up college copy of Hell's Angels and Fear and Loathing in Las vegas. Loved Thompson not just for being an iconoclast, but for being such a great writer.
Later in grad school I did a ... 9. Hell's Angels - Hunter S. Thompson I would also love to see Hell's Angels on the big screen, provided they do the book justice! I'm currently reading Hell's Angels - Hunter S. Thompson, and also Rosemary's Baby - Ira Levin. I'm enjoying both so far. #133: It's been too many years for me to wholly remember Strange Angels, but I gave it 4 stars, so I must have liked it somewhat. :) All I remember is it's more psychological than spooky horror; and the back cover synopsis isn't accurate at all--no angels here.

Hells Angels, Hunter S. Thompson I'm like you. I went from Stiff to the cheesy Aliens: Steel Egg. Next up is Hunter Thompson's Hell's Angels. I think constantly changing subject matter helps me to stick to one book at a time. ... mistake of going to Half-Price Books.
I left with No Fear Shakespeare - Romeo and Juliet, Hunter S. Thompson's Hell's Angels, Christopher Isherwood's Berlin Stories, Greg Bear's Forge of God and Psychlone and a horror novel called The Freakshow.
