( )Couldn't miss this one in my collection: a latin translation of book 1. Not an easy read... :-) it was a very fascinating story about friend ship, and loyalty. harry potter is the main character. in this book he discovers that he is a wizard and had stopped the evil lord voldemort by the love of his parents. his parents died and he had to live with ho aunt and uncle who are "muggles",people with out magical powers and they treat him very poorly. finally he gets to go to hogwarts and he gets to meet new friends and have life full of action. he wonders on a acrtile about the sorcerers stone which he discovers can make u live forever. the book is about him trying to stop evil people from getting it hamza nouman Oddly, only 14 LibraryThing users admit to owning this book in Latin, but 143 apparently do in Greek. I'm wondering about a filing problem, myself. I bought both of them thinking I could use them for unseen translation tests for my students, but the Latin and Greek are both too hard for elementary students. no reviews | add a review
