Amber goes to London with her aunt, and gets the chicken pox. Also, her dad, who is divorced from her mom and lives in France comes to visit.
It seems like this book is mostly about divorced parents and how they relate to each other and their child, and not a trip to London (although Amber does do some sight-seeing) or chicken pox. ( )
